DAMITOL® is a prescription medicine used to treat indoor (year-round) and outdoor (seasonal) allergy symptoms—congestion, sneezing, and an itchy or runny nose.

DAMITOL® is an intranasal corticosteroid. The Allergy Report published by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology considers intranasal corticosteroids "first line" therapy for treating allergy symptoms. In addition to treating allergy symptoms, DAMITOL® can be used to help prevent most seasonal allergy symptoms before they start in patients 12 years and older when taken 2 to 4 weeks before allergy season begins. DAMITOL® is also clinically proven to treat nasal polyps in patients 18 years and older.

DAMITOL® is effective and has a proven safety profile. The side effects of DAMITOL® were generally mild and included headache, viral infection, sore throat, nosebleeds, and coughing.
